Why our recipes
Easy to clean with an air fryer and made in just over 30 minutes! Our panko panding ensures that the chicken remains crispy, even when you are choking with a delicious bang bang sauce. Easily adjust the heat to make it as gentle or spicy as you like.

What makes this bang bun chicken so good is its incredible texture and bold, flavorful sauce. We use Panko’s crumbs to give it its perfect, crispy crunch and suffocate it with a charming creamy and spicy sweet sauce.
Ingredient Notes

Chicken: Try cutting the chicken into bite-sized pieces. You can also use boneless, skinless chicken thighs to get juicy, dark meat results. All-purpose flour: Provides the first layer of coating and helps the egg mixture to be suitable for chicken. Eggs and milk: This mixture serves as a second layer of coating, creating a crumb that sticks well and crunches. Panko Bread Prumbs: Panko gives it the perfect crispness that resists getting soaked when reheated, so we prefer Panko. You can always replace it with regular bread crumbs if necessary. Mayonnaise: Base of bang sauce. Feel free to use light mayonnaise for low-calorie options. Sweet Chili Sauce: This adds sweetness and mild heat to the sauce. If you like spicy kicks, you can add more amounts of sweet chili sauce or add more sriracha. Sriracha: This is where the fever gets in. Start with a small amount and adjust according to your preference. You can also provide it sideways for those who require heat. Honey: Can be replaced with maple syrup or agave nectar.
Spritz oil
Air fries significantly reduce the amount of oil you need compared to traditional frying, but a small amount of oil is still essential to achieving the best results. Oil plays an important role on the air fry by helping to heat more evenly, promoting the golden, crisp look we love.
Use olive oil, avocado oil, vegetable oil, or high-quality cooking spray.
When it comes to oil application, you will need a light spritz with an oil Mr or brush. You aim to lightly cover the surface of the food rather than soaking it. This minimal application helps to enhance the texture without adding excessive fat.

Air Fryer Tips
Using Liner: Cleaning up is easy when using an air fryer parchment liner. There are fewer scrubs and I enjoy it more.
Don’t be crowded: feed food in the air fryer basket to the breathing chamber. If the air fryer isn’t too big, cook it in batches. A completely golden result is worth it. And don’t forget to throw and swing everything along the way. That way everything will cook evenly.
Beware of things: the air fryer works fast and no one wants an overcooked chicken. Use a meat thermometer if possible (to reach a safe internal temperature of 165°F) and check things towards the end, nailing its perfect dongness.

Provide suggestions
Bang Bum Chicken, whether it’s a small plate or an appetizer, whether it’s a potluck or dinner party or serving it as a entree paired with sides, will delight the crowd.
If serving as an appetizer, spread a plate on a large assortment and garnish with sliced green onions and lime wedges to clean them.
As a main dish, chicken can be served with rice, noodles and steamed vegetables.
Storage and reheating instructions
Place leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the chicken on a wire rack set on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until heated.
Reheat with an Air Fryer: For even faster options, reheat the chicken in a 350°F air fryer for 3-5 minutes.
Reheat in the microwave: If you’re in a hurry, you can reheat the chicken in a microwave safe dish in 30 seconds increments at height and turn it over halfway. Please note that this method can reduce the crisp texture.
