This layered taco dip is extremely versatile. You can add your favorite layers of your favorite materials, making it perfect for any occasion.

If you’re planning a party, check out our most popular party recipes! There’s something on this list for everyone.

❤️ I love this recipe

We love the versatility of this recipe and make a great addition to any party. If you have a few noisy guests, you can also add toppings to half of the bread and move them away from the other half. This is a great cold dip on a hot day!

Swap and add

I love the cream cheese mixture and taco seasonings mixed together. You can also add small ranch seasonings. You can add a layer of black beans, switch the black olives to green, or separate them completely. You can also add a layer of guacamole, or turn it off if you want, instead of avocado. Looking for a little spice? Add jalapenos or hot salsa. Some people like to top the dip with lettuce before serving.

Can I add meat?

Yes, you can add a layer of meat. Make ground beef with taco seasonings and add it as a layer or take pre-cooked chicken and chopped it into small pieces and add it.

Tip

This dip is best served cold, so we make it and leave it in the fridge for an hour before enjoying it. Great with tortilla chips and frito scoops.

Other delicious appetizers

Cowboy Caviar – This is a great dip that many people love! It’s easy to prepare and you’ll also get a cold.

Sausage Artichoke Dip – This is my favorite dip and has been a family favorite for many years. It’s hot and absolutely delicious.

Mexican sausage balls – this is a classic twist and has great reviews.

Amish Onion Pate – These are truly popular recipes! The burger is also great.

Spread the backfill beans at the bottom of a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Use a blender to combine cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning mix, salt and pepper. (I put cream cheese in the microwave for about a minute to soften it).

Spreads over the refrawn beans. Add layers of olives, green chili, green onions, salsa, fresh tomatoes and avocado. Sprinkle cheese on top and refrigerate for several hours. I catch a cold.

Serve with tortilla chips or fritos.
