This cottage cheese hot chocolate is my new favorite way to turn a cozy classic into something a little more nutritious without sacrificing comfort. It’s rich, rich, and incredibly smooth, but it’s made with just a few simple ingredients you probably already have: cocoa powder, honey, milk, and cottage cheese. No starches, no complicated procedures, no weird additives.

The cottage cheese melts smoothly and adds protein while making the drink creamy. You can’t taste it at all, just pure chocolate goodness. The cocoa gives it a deep, authentic chocolate flavor, and the honey adds a gentle sweetness. Warmed slowly and blended until smooth, this hot chocolate feels like a hug in a mug.

It’s hearty and perfect for especially cold mornings or quiet nights when you want something comforting without being too heavy. It’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment while wrapping your hands around a warm cup.

If you’re looking for a special, cozy, and healthier hot chocolate, this one might surprise you. Simple, satisfying and comforting food is proof that it’s good for your health.

How to make cottage cheese hot chocolate

First, blend the cottage cheese in a blender until completely smooth and creamy. Add cocoa powder, honey, and salt and mix again until completely combined and smooth.

Then pour the mixture into a small saucepan. Add milk and mix. Heat gently over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is hot but not boiling.

Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary. Finish by topping with shredded coconut if you like and serve immediately, or enjoy warm.

Give this guilt-free hot chocolate a try and if you do, please tag me on Instagram and enjoy!
