If truffle fries were on the menu, I would definitely order them.
But girls should be able to make it at home too! Some of the restaurants we usually order these fries from make them differently, so we decided to take what we both love and combine them. Here are the details: Crispy fries are tossed in earthy, aromatic white truffle oil, generously sprinkled with freshly grated Parmesan, drizzled with balsamic glaze and sprinkled with chopped fresh parsley. It’s really that simple.
The balsamic sauce adds a touch of sweetness, which goes well with the earthy truffle oil and salty Parmesan cheese.

This recipe makes 8 servings, but you can definitely make a meal out of these. No shame here.

To make these Parmesan truffle fries, you’ll need:
French fries – homemade or store-bought. Shoestring or “fast food” style fries are perfect for this recipe. White truffle oil – imparts a pungent, earthy, slightly nutty flavor. Flaky salt – Enhances the flavor of this recipe. Parmesan cheese (freshly grated) – Gives additional nuttiness, richness, and saltiness. Balsamic glaze – use homemade or store-bought. Parsley – Adds a pop of color and herbal flavor.

Make the fries:
You can use frozen fries or make your own. If using a store-bought product, preheat the oven according to package directions. Divide 1 bag between 2 large sheet pans lined with parchment paper and sprayed with olive oil spray. Bake for 20 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through baking.

When the fries are crispy, remove them from the oven, add them to a bowl (or mix them together on one of your sheet pans), and pour in the white truffle oil (about 2 teaspoons).

Toss gently to coat.

Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with salt.

Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Again, the amount is approximately 1/2 cup.

Then pour in about 2 tablespoons of balsamic glaze.

Finally, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.

It really goes great as an appetizer or as an accompaniment to burgers, wraps, etc.

And watch them disappear!

These fries are best eaten immediately after making.
