Also known as chocolate pudding cake, this classic dessert has a rich chocolate cake on top and warm fudge pudding on the bottom.

❤️Why we love chocolate cobbler
If you love chocolate and are a cobbler fan, this is the dessert for you. It’s easy to make, quick to make, and delicious. Made of 8×8, it’s perfect for small gatherings or when you want something a little sweet. Add ice cream, chocolate syrup, and cherries to create a hot fudge cake. Some people call this a chocolate pudding cake, but either way, it’s a huge hit!
This shoe store is made a little differently. It uses hot water, but it’s delicious the old-fashioned way. We make our Cinnamon Pecan Cobbler using the same method and have received great reviews.
Cobbler brings back memories…
When we were young children growing up on a farm, my mother would take us on “safari” to pick blackberries and make delicious cobblers. A very simple moment created our best memories. Preserving tradition and creating a simple life is what we strive for in every issue of Front Porch Life Magazine. Click here for details.

It is made with evaporated milk, but regular milk is also fine. We love this cobbler topped with ice cream, but you can always use whipped cream.
What does boiling water do?
The cocoa powder melts and gives this cobbler a really deep chocolate flavor. Make the chocolate sauce that makes this cobbler so delicious. It sinks to the bottom of the plate, so it goes great with ice cream!
