We love these simple donuts and can make them in ovens fried in frying pans or air fryers.

If you like donuts, you should try these delicious cinnamon donut muffins. It has a cake doughnut texture and has great reviews.

❤️ I love this recipe

I love the versatility of this recipe! You can bake these in the oven, fry them in a frying pan, or make them with an air fryer. We love biscuits. This is a great, very easy recipe for weekend mornings. Kids enjoy helping you make these! They’re not like yeast donuts, they’re really gathering quickly. Now do they taste like a donut? I think they taste very similar, but not like fresh yeast style doughnuts from the bakery.

Jumbo Frakey donuts are thick and go up a lot, so we use Jumbo Frakey donuts. They also seem to work well with this recipe. I’m sure canned donuts will work. You can make chocolate glaze medicines, vanilla aze medicines, sprinkles, and more. You can cover the glaze with crushed nuts or soak the entire donut with cinnamon sugar.

The best oil for deep frying

Vegetable oils are at the top of the list. I used canola oil because it heats up really well. I haven’t tried olive oil to fry these, but it may work well. Olive oil is used in the air fryer.

Tip

These donuts are best served fresh, but I thought the next day was still good. Not as great as when you first made them! These are perfect for Sunday mornings with coffee.

These canned biscuit donuts are very easy and very versatile. Give instructions on how to bake, fry and make with an air fryer.

1 Biscuits can be made I use jumbo flake biscuits1/2 Stick 4 or 1/4 cup butter or 4 tablespoons It melted1/2~1 cup White granule sugar2 Small spoons Ground Cinnamon More or less

Topping options

3/4 cup Powdered sugar1 1/2 A large spoon cocoamilk

Bake a donut

Split the biscuits and flatten them on the countertop. Use either the tip of the knife or the hole cutter to drill holes in the center of each one. Soak the donut and holes in melted butter, then combine sugar and cinnamon to soak. Place on a sprayed baking sheet or parchment paper and bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for about 12 minutes. Create 8-10 donuts and 8-10 holes depending on the number of cans.

Fried donut instructions

Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan, cut the holes in the biscuits, and drop the holes in the biscuits and hot oil. Cook until one side is brown and cook to finish cooking. This only takes a few seconds. Remove from the oil and drain with a paper towel. Sprinkle or soak with powdered sugar or a combination of cinnamon and sugar. You can melt the chocolate chips and spread them out onto a donut. Use your imagination to add sprinkles. Create the same amount as above.

Air Fryer Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees for 3 minutes. Before cooking, polish both sides of the biscuits with melted butter. Place 3-4 biscuits in the air fryer. Biscuits should not be touched. Set the air fryer at 350 for 7 minutes. Remove your favorite toppings and cool them to add or soak them.
