Morcajete whips traditional Mexican mortars and pestles, and liven up a batch of Morcajete guacamole within 10 minutes!

This Molcajete guacamole recipe is made with just creamy avocados, onions, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro and lime. Are you a fan of onion and coriander? Avoid them from the mix. After that, there is my 4 popular ingredients guacamole recipe.

Why does Guacamole’s Molcajete make it special? The process of grinding the ingredients releases all the flavors and oils to create a smooth consistency that you won’t get from the fork, maximizing the flavor.

How to make guacamole from Molcajete

With just a few ingredients and a little effort, you’ll create a creamy, flavorful guacamole perfect for tacos and chip dips.

Step 1 – To make onions, jalapeños, garlic and salt, release a flavour.

Step 2 – Scoop the avocado meat into the molcajete and gently pound the pestle while also incorporating the onion/garlic paste.

Step 3 – Finally, use a spoon to fold diced coriander and fresh lime juice.

Tips for making guacamole with Molcajete

I think 1/8 of the salt per avocado is the sweet spot. If you’re sensitive to salt, add half the amount and work on it. Fresh lime juice is much better than bottled lime juice. Do not replace bottled juice. What is the size of guacamole molcaet? We recommend using 4 cups of molcajete for guacamole. For half of the batch, you can escape with 2 cups of Molcajete.

2 TBSP White onion cut into small pieces1-2 TBSP Fine and refreshing jalapeno pepper (*Note 1)1 cloves Garlic, chopped½-¾ Small spoons Salt, + taste (*Note 2)3 Ripe avocado1 Lime, juice1 TBSP Dipped coriander

Instructions

Add onion, jalapeño, garlic and salt to the molcajete and grind it into a paste using a pestle.

Add the avocado meat to the molcajete and use a pestle to mash it into an onion/garlic paste and mix.

Add the lime juice and cilantro and fold into guacamole using a large spoon.

Taste and adjust the ingredients to your liking. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Note

Note 1 – If you like spicy guacamole, use 2 tablespoons. Jalapeno pepper.
Note 2 – Salt levels vary depending on what you are offering to guacamole. Some tortilla chips are very salty so guacamole doesn’t require much salt. Start with 1/2 tsp and then go up.
