Storage and reheat leftovers
Refrigerated. Grilled cheese always tastes best when fresh in a frying pan or air fryer! That being said, if you have leftovers, you can store them airtight and store them in the fridge for 1-2 days. Reheat. The easiest way to reheat grilled cheese is to return it to a 350ºF air fryer.

Preheat the air fryer to 370F. Spread the slices of bread with butter and cover one side completely. Place the sides of the bread butter on the air fryer grid. Top with equal amounts of both cheese. Butter one side of the second slice of bread and place it on top of the cheese with butter on top. If the bread is thin, add a toothpick to prevent the bread from blowing away. Cook for 4-5 minutes, then flip it over and cook for another 4 minutes. If you like the bread being toasted more, you can add one minute at a time.
