Remember Slutty Brownies, aka the most incredible creations of all time? ! Equal partially chewy chocolate chip cookies and top brownies with top brownies with layers of Oreo cookies in the center. These nostalgic bars are as good as they were back then, but they’ve leveled up with homemade cookie dough!
Slut Brownies AKA Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie Oreo Brownies
You don’t need to choose between brownies, chocolate chip cookies, or Oreo. I think that the creator of Slut Brownies woke up thinking the day they created the masterpiece that was Slut Brownies. Collectively thank the genius who decided to first edit cookie dough, oreo and brownies into one pot. No matter who you are, we owe you. a lot.
Now the iconic people I know are popularizing these. Rosie, I don’t know if you’re the first person to do this, but we’re grateful for your work. The iconic 3-layer brownie oleo chocolate chip cookie mashup is chewy, awful, fudgey, crunchy and absolutely on top in the top in the best way. I’ve always made them for my high school friend with boxed brownie mix and tallhouse cookie dough.
All of these were rage from 15 years ago, but I think it’s time to be a bit of an adult and shine. We’ve leveled up from Tollhouse to a chewy chocolate chip cookie base from Scratch, the central layer of the (obviously) Oreo Cookie. And a rich crackle top brownie layer that is easily made with a boxed mix (I love the shortcuts that don’t compromise on flavor).
result? They disappear in a few minutes, literally work for any occasion, delighting crowds who look like the most enjoyable people at bake sales.

What is a slut brownie?
If you somehow missed the early 2010s food blog trend, just keep up. Slut Brownies are decadent layers of dessert bars:
Chocolate chip cookie layer (soft, chewy, perfect butter) layer of Oreo (classic or double-stapped, but I’ll vote for Doubel stuffing)
They are essentially the start of dessert: cookies in cookie-based brownies. A bite will understand why they won the cheeky name.

Why do you like this recipe?
In addition to being a complete shortpper, these Oreo cookie brownie bars are:
Easy to make. No flashy equipment is required. If you can stir it, you can make slut brownies. Nostalgic. Remember when you made these in college or drooping on Pinterest? Yes, they are still very good. Customizable. You can swap Oreo into a peanut butter cup, add a caramel drizzle, or try cookies with a variety of flavors. Perfect for sharing. Bake for sale, parties, birthdays and Tuesdays. Get ideas.
Necessary materials
You’ll need a handful of pantry staples (plus Oreo, the staple food in my house’s pantry). Here’s what goes into each layer:
For cookie layer: butter brown sugar + granulated sugar egg vanilla extract general powder baking soda chocolate chips for oleo layer: 1 package of oleo for brownie layer (double packed highly recommended): 1 boxed brownie mix (whatever the box calls: usually oil, eggs, water)

Step-by-step instructions
Make cookie dough
Whip a quick batch of chocolate chip cookie dough. Spread evenly over 9 x 9 inch bread lined up on parchment. Pro Tip: Press it into the corner to ensure you get a uniform base.
Add Oreo
Layer the oreos over the cookie dough. I like to break up them, so you get Oreo in every corner!
Pour into brownie batter
Follow the directions to mix the boxed brownie mix and pour the shiny chocolate batter over the Oreo. Spreads over a uniform layer so that cookies are completely covered.
Bake perfectly
Pop the pot in the oven and bake until the edges are set, but the middle is still slightly lowered. They continue cooking while chilling, so don’t overcover.
Cool slices
This is the most difficult part: let the brownies cool completely before slices. If you have a clean edge, let it cool in the fridge for 30 minutes, then cut with a sharp knife.

Storage method
If you have leftovers by miracles (almost unlikely in my own experience)
Room temperature: Store in an airtight container or plastic bag for up to 3 days. Refrigerator: Store in an airtight container or plastic bag for 5-6 days. I really think these taste will taste even better the next day. The flavors blend together and they become even more fudgy! Freezer: Store in a safe plastic bag in your freezer for up to 2 months! Thaw them or pop them in the microwave before you enjoy them!
Life is too short to choose between cookies and brownies!
enjoy!
