Why fall in love with these simple apple sales?
Awful apple stuffing. With just five ingredients, these apple turnover fillings are simple, sweet and tasty sticky. Double treat. It is served as a turnover for a special breakfast or as a fall dessert topped with ice cream. Semi-homemade. Refrigerated or frozen puff pastries work great and cut preparation time in half.

Homemade and store-bought puff pastries
Traditional sales are a type of Weenairesley dough, similar to the pastry dough used to make croissant and apple strudel. As a semi-homemade option, you can’t beat the convenience of store-bought refrigerated puff pastries.
If you are using frozen pastries, follow the instructions on how to thaw the package. The best way to thaw is in the fridge overnight, so make sure the dough doesn’t get too warm. Of course, if you have a favorite homemade pastry recipe, you can use it too!

Apple Sales Filling Materials
The five materials needed to fill sales are as follows:
Apples – You can pack sales to fry apples in butter. Choose baking apples to use to make Apple Pie, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp. Before you begin, peel off the apples and then core, slice or dice. Lemon Juice – Fresh is the best, and the bottle works in a pinch. Brown Sugar – Granulated sugar or a combination of the two can also be used. Cinnamon – If necessary, substitute nutmeg or spice blends, such as Apple Pie Spice or Pumpkin Pie Spice. Cornstarch – Combine with water to make slurry to thicken the apples. You can also make a slurry with flour, but it requires about twice the amount of flour as cornstarch.
How to make Apple turnovers
Isn’t Autumn baking the best? The ingredients are very cozy and the house always smells great while these sales burn. You may then whip a batch of pumpkin scones when the oven is hot. Let’s get started:

Prepare the apple stuffing. To make the filling, fry the apples in butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. Meanwhile, whisk the cornstarch with water to create a slurry and stir it into the apple. Thicken the mixture and cook for another minute.

Roll out and cut the puff pastry. Next, unfold the puff pastry sheet. Trim each sheet to make a square (discard the scrap or turn it into a Rouge Lach!). Next, cut each square sheet into four small squares.

Fill in turnover and fold it. Here, divide the prepared apples between the pastry squares. Then fold the pastry from corner to corner to form a triangle around the filling. Press the edge along with the fork to seal.

bake. Place it on a baking sheet that backs apple sales, leaving about an inch of space between each pastry. Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes until sales are bulging and golden. Cool and GL drugs. Turnovers need to cool completely before they can be turned into ice. Otherwise, the icing will melt quickly. When it’s time to glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla in a bowl. Provide icing with drizzle or pipe on top of apple sales!
