Did you know that the three most consumed foods at the Super Bowl Party are wings, pizza, chips and dips? Therefore, this recipe will be just in time for game day!

The wings of these cacio e pepe are baked unfrilled and do not load up with the large amount of sauce that covers them.

Cacio e Pepe Wing Ingredients

Cacio e Pepe means cheese and pepper so you can make it with just a few high-quality ingredients and you won’t feel guilty about eating heavy fried or wings of sauce.

You should use a freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano. Some people also use freshly baked Pecorino Romano, but I prefer Palmisino.

It also requires a lot of pepper. This is the key to this recipe, the finest, course ground.

Marinated wings

Of course, to start from the top you need high-quality chicken. To do this, use a wing dramet and flat. If the wings are entirely, you can slice the tip between the driving tape and the flat section. Store inventory tips in the freezer.

I also marinate them with finely ground pepper, olive oil, small granulated garlic, salt and pepper. You can do it overnight or a few hours before.

Raw wings of a rack

Another key to this recipe is to cook it on a rack, as it is baked. It really makes a difference. You can also fry it, but you wanted to do a lot at once, so it’s up to you, and how much do you cook at once?

Pre-cooked pepper wings

The rack makes them wonderful and crispy, spin them once at 425.

Feathered wings

To be honest with you, these cacio e pepe wings don’t need dips. Eat as is, they are very tasty, but if you choose a side they are good with some vegetables and soak for it.

Vegetables and dips

This is a vegetable ricotta dip and is a good choice to complete your meal.

Remember, the more pepper and cheese, the better. Don’t be shy!

Instructions

In a large bowl or container, sprinkle the patted dry wings with drizzle of olive oil, finely ground black pepper, salt and granulated garlic. Spray with olive oil using a rack and place it on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment. Place the wings on the rack, pre-position, pre-position, pre-position, use the rack, throw 1-2 hours in advance. The oven was heated at 425, I used my convection roast. After 20 minutes, turn the wings over and do it for another 20 minutes, but perhaps yours may be done earlier or later. Look for a deep golden colour. The ovens vary. Once the wings are complete, grab a large bowl, add melted butter and throw it onto the cooked wing. Coat them all. Taste salt, pepper or even more cheese to your liking.
