Recipe details
I love these Caprese skewers. Because they are tasty, fresh and tasty. They are great all year round, but I especially love them in the summer when tomatoes are the sweetest and seasonal and cold dishes are the best taste. You’re going to love this simple recipe.
Taste: Sweet, cheap and tangy, these skewers are a mixture of many amazing flavors. And the seasonings add salty, peppery goodness. Texture: These Caprese Skewers have juicy tomatoes, creamy mozzarella cheese and crispy basil leaves. Topped with glaze drugs like syrup, they are addictive. Time: This recipe only takes 5 minutes. Ease of Use: This is quick, simple and easy as it has fewer ingredients and is not cooked.
What you need

Ingredient Notes
Mozzarella – Fresh mozzarella is rich and creamy. Get the size of cherry blossoms and are perfect for these skewers. Cherry Tomatoes – The size and flavor of these tomatoes make this recipe a perfect match. Their sweetness works well with the other ingredients. Basil should be freshly made from basil for its aroma and herbaceous flavor. Balsamic Glaze – This is a sweet, tangy, rich glaze, and the perfect accompaniment of tomato and cheese. Salt and black pepper
Add-ins and replacements
Make your own balsamic glaze – boil until the balsamic vinegar is thick, then let cool before sprinkling it on a skewer. Use a variety of tomatoes – add alternative yellow and red cherry tomatoes and use grape tomatoes. Instead of another cheese, Caprese uses mozzarella cheese, but you can change things with cube cheddar, pepper jack, or Monterey Jack cheese. Add olive oil and light rain on the skewers, extra virgin olive oil adds a little richness to this crisp, fresh appetizer.
How to make a Caprese skewer
Skewer the cheese, tomatoes and basil. Drain the water from the mozzarella cheese bowl and start skewering the tomatoes, mozzarella and basil into a plastic skewer. Seasons and GL drugs. Once everything is skewer, add salt and pepper and then drizzle the balsamic glaze just before serving.
Pro Tip: For each skewer, I did two tomatoes, two basil leaves and one mozzarella cheese ball to make sure the cheese wasn’t overwhelmed. This gives them a great balance.

Recipe Tips
Use ripe but not overripe tomatoes. Avoid ripe cherry tomatoes with ripe. Use kosher salt. This salt tastes better than iodinated salts, and it’s a bit rougher, especially when you get a salt crunch along with all the other flavors. Add the glaze just before serving – I don’t want to add this in advance, so the glaze is absorbed by the mozzarella and looks speckled and brown.
FAQ
Caprese skewers can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Do not add balsamic glazes or seasonings as the tomatoes can release liquids. Making them faster will make the tomatoes mushy and the basil wilt.

Provide suggestions
These caprese skewers are simple and tasty and perfect to serve your guests. Can be paired with salads, dips, grilled meats and other appetizers.
Grilled meat: Serve with grilled chicken kabob, frank steak tacos, grilled BBQ chicken thighs and grilled teriyaki salmon. Salads: Enjoy these skewers with anti-pasto salads, Greek chicken pasta salads, salmon potato salads, or Tri-colored pasta salads (video). Dip: Serve this appetizer with 7 layers of taco dip, hot artichoke dip, easy BLT dip and garlic cream cheese dip. Other Appetizers: Pair this dish with Buffalo Cauliflower from the Air Fryer, Bakery Bree with Puff Pastry, Easy Piroshki, or Crab Stuffed Mushrooms.
Create this recipe in advance
Go ahead: You can prepare the skewers one day in advance and place them in the fridge in an airtight container. When ready to serve, add balsamic glaze, salt and pepper.
Storage: Store these homemade Caprese skewers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
Freeze: We do not recommend freezing these skewers. Mozzarella cheese and basil thaw well, but tomatoes are coarse and watery.
