Filipino Chicken Araking is all dish of a crunchy, juicy chicken combination that chokes in a rich, creamy sauce. In its original form, the chicken araking was just sauce and chicken bites. Pour over pasta or toast. But this is not the way the Filipinos prepare it. In the Filipino version, the bread chicken itself is a star, choking in its flavorful, creamy sauce and served with buttered corn on the sides.
How to cook Filipino Chicken Araking in Creamy Sauce
It’s easy to make this at home. You will be surprised at how simple it is. Below are the steps we took from preparing and cooking the chicken along with the side dishes and sauce.
Place the chicken breast on a clean surface and place the chicken breast on a clean surface until it reaches even thickness with the tenderness of the meat, and season the chicken breast. This helps to cook evenly. Sprinkle salt, ground black pepper and garlic flour on all sides. Coat the chicken into a crispy outer layer – dried the seasoned chicken with flour and make sure it is lightly coated. Dip in the beaten eggs and then roll in breadcrumbs until completely covered. Let the bread chicken rest for 5 minutes. This sets the coating and prevents it from falling off when frying. Fry until golden brown and set aside – Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. When it gets hot, fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy on each side. Remove from the pot and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Prepare the sides and sauce while preparing. Fry the corn on a buttery side dish – in another pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the corn and stir for about 2 minutes. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and black pepper and mix well to enhance the flavor. Once cooked, transfer to a serving dish. Make a creamy sauce, melt the butter in a pan, and fry the garlic, onion and carrots for 2 minutes to bring out the flavor. Stir in the flour until a mass forms. Gradually pour the milk, stirring continuously to create a smooth base. Season with chicken powder, salt and black pepper. Mix the versatile cream, pimiento and parsley and cook for another 30 seconds. Pour the sauce into the fried chicken. Serve with sauteed corn and rice. Enjoy the Philippine Chicken Ara King in Creamy Sauce!
What you need to know
Chicken breast is the biggest choice for the chicken king. Because it cooks lean, gentle and fast. Its light flavor allows creamy sauces and other flavors to shine without stealing the show. Stir chicken in really hot oil (350°F or 175°C) and quickly increase the coating and trap it in the juice. It also helps to fry in small batches, stabilizing the oil temperature. So don’t overcrowd your pot.

What foods are best for chicken araking in the Philippines?
Philippine Chicken Araking already sautes corn as a side dish, so it can be a meal in itself. But we love Filipinos pair everything with rice, so that’s definitely a way to go!
Steamed white rice or garlic crisps are the perfect match. It absorbs all the creamy, rich sauces, making every bit more chewable. The food is not wrong! The mashed potatoes are a great match. They are creamy and buttery. This means absorbs the rich sauce perfectly. The green salad is a great match as it brings fresh and crisp contrast to the rich, creamy sauce of Philippine chicken araking. You can try:

8 oz chicken breast, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp black pepper, 1/8 tsp garlic powder

1 egg, ¼ cup all-purpose powder, 1 cup of good life bread crumbs
Heat the oil in a pan. Fry until the chicken is golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pot and place it on a serving plate. Please put it aside.
1 cup of cooking oil
Melt two tablespoons of butter in the bread and cook the side dishes. Fry the corn for 2 minutes. Season with garlic flour, salt and ground black pepper. Please put it aside.
2 tablespoons of butter, Sweet Corn Kernel 1 1/2 cup, Taste salt and ground black pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Melt the butter in a pan to make the sauce. Fry the garlic, onion and carrots for 2 minutes. Add the flour and stir until a mass forms. Pour milk. Stir until the sauce is thick. Season with chicken powder, salt and ground black pepper. Add all-purpose cream, pimiento and parsley. Stir for 30 seconds to cook.
Three clove garlic, 3 teaspoons of onions, 2 tablespoons of carrots, 2 teaspoons of chicken powder, 4 tablespoons butter, 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 4 oz pimiento, 2 tsp parsley, 1 cup of versatile cream, 1 glass of fresh milk, Taste salt and ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Pour sauce over the chicken. Serve with sauteed corn and rice. Share and have fun.
Note
If you don’t have meat tender agents, don’t sweat. Instead, you can use a rolling pin or a heavy pot bottom. Place the chicken between two pieces of plastic wrap or parchment paper and gently beat until evenly and flat. This helps to break down the fibers and cook evenly. Certainly, you can use a fork to peck a hole into the meat and marinade in, but it doesn’t flatten like a gentle pin or bread. It’s a simple hack, but not so good if you want a uniform thickness to cook.
