I have always loved fresh green beans. It can be eaten raw, roasted, pickled, but grilled may be my favorite. This recipe is so easy and tasty, I just had to share it. You will need three ingredients and a grill.
You will need it to make grilled green beans.
Fresh Green Beans – Choose hard green beans with no mushy brown spots or scratches. Extra light olive oil – or substitute with avocado oil. Garlic Herb Condiments – or use your favorite spice blend.
First, preheat the grill and grill basket to 400°. Meanwhile, it’s clean, padded and trimmed the green beans.
Next, place the 1-1/2 pounds of trimmed mung beans in a large bowl.
Next, drizzle with 2 teaspoons of olive oil. I use the usual light olive oil, but other injected oils work too. Then throw those beans until they are coated.
Finally, throw them directly into a hot grill basket, close the lid and grill for 4-5 minutes. These will turn brown and will cook quickly, so don’t get lost too far.
Throw them every few minutes until the beans form delicious grill marks at the spot.
Use tongs to return the grilled green beans to the same mixing bowl.
Sprinkle with 1/2 tablespoon of garlic herb seasoning and mix.
Very simple! The moment I took the photo, my eldest son and I sucked these in like the last green beans on Earth. Sometimes it’s a simple recipe for life and will it be the most delicious amilite?
