If you’ve ever wondered how to make cream blue at home, today is your lucky day! Topped with a layer of hard caramel, this lush and rich custard is made from just four common ingredients. Heavy cream, egg yolk, sugar, vanilla.

Cream brurii with berry and mint.

Easy Cream Brulee Recipe

Cream brulee, also known as burnt cream, cremacatalina, or Trinity cream, is a dessert that is guaranteed to impress guests. I’m excited to use this tutorial to teach you how to make creme brulee today.

It’s surprisingly easy! If you try to make it yours, you don’t need to resort to flashy restaurants to serve you this pleasant sweet treat.

While my sister was visiting us last weekend, she brought us a torch from the kitchen and introduced us to her creamy splendor, a homemade cream brulee. If you don’t have a kitchen torch or don’t mind buying it, you can also caramelize the sugar in the oven. (The direction is shown below.)

Creme Brûlée is definitely an elegant dessert, but it is also a rather simple concept with just a few ingredients. It is also a dessert that almost everyone loves.

Those who have not surpassed the moon cannot imagine seeing a beautiful dish of fully caramelized creme brulee placed before them at the end of their meal.

While my sister was visiting us last weekend, she brought us a torch from the kitchen and introduced us to her creamy splendor, a homemade cream brulee.

I can’t believe it took me so long to finally make creme brulee at home. This turned out to be one of the easiest desserts I’ve ever made!

Is Creme Brûlée Gluten free?

Creme Brûlée is just a simple custard base topped with a crunchy layer of crunchy sugar. If you’ve never made custard before, it’s a blend of egg yolks, heavy cream and sugar lightly seasoned with vanilla.

Very Happy Day: Cream Brulee is naturally gluten-free! If you’re looking for more gluten-free desserts for your repertoire, check out our extensive archive of gluten-free dessert recipes and gluten-free baking at BFK.

To make this beautiful custard, you need the following ingredients:

Heavy Cream Vanilla Bean Sugar Egg

Kitchen Tips: Use this torch and this fuel to make this recipe. (This combination is much easier and cheaper than a typical kitchen torch!)

A simple creme brulee

Cream brulee is served in individual parts, making it perfect for buffet-style gatherings. Guests can grab their own desserts without the need to add a spoon or dish.

Cream brulee is traditionally served at Round Ramekins. If you don’t have them, make sure they are oven safe for all kinds of small shallow dishes!

This simple cream blue recipe is also a great make-ahead dessert. Prepare the custard three days in advance and store in the fridge until ready to use!

Whisk and pour into individual dishes in the ovenproof. * Place the filled dishes in a safe pot in the oven and fill about half of each dish with water.

Place on a middle oven rack and bake for 40 minutes. Carefully remove a very hot pot of water from the oven, let it cool for 10 minutes, then transfer the custard dish to the fridge to cool.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours and 3 days. When ready to caramelize, place the dish on a heat-resistant surface and leave it warm for about 30 minutes.

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar on each dish and caramelize the sugar using a kitchen torch. A good technique is to go through the top of the dish until most of the sugar has melted, and let it cool, repeating it in other dishes.

Finish each dish with the second torch. Don’t be afraid to burn the top a little. Make sure the sugar is foaming well.

If you don’t have a kitchen torch and are not planning on purchasing, follow the tips below to caramelize the top with an oven broiler. Chill the finished creme brulee again until ready to prepare.

Move the top rack in the oven up as high as it goes. Place the ramekin in the oven on the top rack and turn on the broiler. Bake for 5-10 minutes, spin frequently to bake evenly. Take them out when they are foaming with a golden brown.

Looking for an easier and more impressive dessert? Try the summer berries brulee for a fun spin on classic brulee. Easy Crock Pot Dulce de Leche is another dish with an incredible caramel flavour that can be whipped incredibly easy.

When it comes to impressive dessert dishes, it’s harder to do better than strawberries marinated in dessert crepes. These can also be doubled completely as a luxurious brunch recipe!

Serving: 6 -8 servings (number of servings is determined by the size and number of dishes)

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Place heavy cream and vanilla beans in a pot over medium heat. Bring it to a boil and then remove from the heat. Let cool for 15 minutes and remove the vanilla bean pod if used.

Beat egg yolk and ¼ cup sugar until smooth. (Reserve the remaining sugar.) Gradually pour the sugar egg mixture into the warm cream. Bubble and combine. Place individual dishes with 6-8 ovens serving dishes in a safe pot in a heavy-duty oven next to the stove, and distribute the cream mixture evenly across them.

Place the pot of stuffed dishes on the center oven rack and carefully fill the pot around the dish with water, surround the sides of half of each dish. Bake for 40 minutes. Carefully remove a very hot pot of water and custard from the oven, let it cool for 10 minutes, then transfer the cream blue dish to the fridge to cool.

Chill the finished creme brulee again until ready to prepare.

Kitchen Tips: A good caramelization technique involves raising the top of the dish until most of the sugar melts, then cooling it over and over again with other dishes. Next, finish each dish with the second torch. Don’t be afraid to burn the top a little. Make sure the sugar is foaming well.
