Peach Cobler

There’s something really special about the warm peach cobblers fresh from the oven. The soft and juicy peaches are rich and change the syrup when baked. The top is golden and buttered with just a refreshing section around the edges. Enjoy the sunshine and comfort tastes all in one spoon.

What I like most is how simple it is. No flashy layers, no complicated stairs, no ripe peaches, no sugar and cinnamon, no soft cake-like toppings that turn beautifully golden in the oven. The peaches mix together sugar and cinnamon to create the most amazing sauce and the smell fills the kitchen is fantastic.

It’s a dessert that feels homemade in the best way. It’s warm, cozy, full of flavours, perfect for family gatherings, summer evenings, or whenever you need a little sweetness.

Warm up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and the hot and cold mix melts a little in the cobbler, like heaven. I was happy to eat it directly from the food! Peach Cobbler is simple, nostalgic and tasty.

How to make a peach cobbler

Start by preheating the oven to 350°F (180°C) and melting a 9 x 13 inch (23 x 33cm) baking dish with butter. This ensures that the butter is hot and the batter is ready.

Next, prepare the peaches by simmering in sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice until the juice is slightly thicker. If you use canned peaches, keep them warm without boiling.

Next, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, mix and mix the milk and vanilla extract to make the dough. Avoid overmixing to keep the cobbler light and soft.

Then pour the dough over the hot melted butter in a baking dish without stirring. Spoon the warm peach mixture evenly over the batter and do not mix. The batter will rise around the fruit when baked.

Finally, bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden and crisp. Let it cool a little and then warm the population of powdered sugar dust, scoops of vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream.

Don’t forget to share your photos on Instagram. I love seeing how this goes for you, so give it a try.
