Rich, hearty and explosive with flavour, this slow-cooked crockpot rug sauce is the perfect way to bring your authentic Italian-inspired meal to the table with minimal effort. Made in a crockpot, this sauce is simmered for hours, and the flavor blends beautifully to create a deep flavorful delight.

The sauce starts with sauteed onions and garlic and is cooked in ground beef, pork, or a combination of both to develop a deep, flavorful flavour. The carrots and celery are added directly to the addicts, where they slowly tender and blend into the sauce. Italian herbs bring warmth, while crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and wine splashes add to the depth of flavor. By cooking slowly, the meat becomes incredibly tender and absorbs all the fragrant, slow-goodness.

This crockpot rug pairs beautifully with your Pappardelle, Taliatel or your favorite pasta, making it a comfortable, restaurant-quality dish at home. Perfect for busy days, the slow cooker will work while enjoying the classic Italian scents that fill your kitchen.

Depending on the size of your crockpot, make large batches, freeze leftovers, and have a simple and delicious meal at any time. Serve with grated Parmesan and unfriendly bread for the ultimate comfortable food experience.

How to make crockpot rug sauce

Start by heating the oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic and cook, stirring constantly until soft.

Next, add the ground beef and pork. Cook until the meat changes color and break the chunks with a spoon.

Pour the wine, degass the pan, scrape off the brown bits and apply extra flavor. You can skip the wine if you like.

Meanwhile, prepare a slow cooker. Chop the carrots and celery and place them at the bottom of the crockpot.

Transfer the cooked meat and onion mixture to waste. Add remaining ingredients such as tomato puree, tomato paste, oregano, basil, beylef, and sugar (if used). Season and season with salt and pepper.

Covered at low times and refilled at low times, allowing the flavor to grow into a rich, hearty sauce.

Pasta or served if necessary. I hope you try it. If so, don’t forget to share photos with me on Instagram. cheers!
