These two iconic chocolate puddings are not easy

Are you craving chocolate? It happens to our best. What if you promised that in just five minutes of effort you could get a bowl of chocolate-like lush, slightly tangy bowl? You need a little more time to cool it down to make it completely thick, but I don’t know if you’ll devour it right away.

Two secret ingredients are drum rolls, dark chocolate and Greek yogurt. that’s it. Chocolate acts as a thickener, so you don’t need anything else to turn creamy yogurt into a pudding. All-Mik Greek yogurt can be made into a rich, sweet pudding or lean with fat-free yogurt to make it mean. I love making ultra adark puddings for very adults using chocolate, which is 85% cocoa.

This recipe is because it’s a chocolate delivery system that allows you to taste a reasonable chocolate chunk of food in a creamy spoonful. It can enhance the comfort of chocolate even when you’re tired, stressed or busy. It is also made with ingredients that are easy to keep on hand, and the remaining yogurt and chocolate (HA, remaining chocolate!) won’t suffer from the fridge.

My amazing inspiration

I’m based on what I’ve made over the years, blending silk tofu and chocolate. One day I was staring at the swivel food processor and wondering, “Can I make this out of yogurt?” That’s why I did it.

To make it, place the yogurt in a food processor and melt the chocolate. Bars or baking chocolate melt more smoothly than chocolate chips. This is formulated to keep its shape when it’s hot. If that’s what you have, you can still use the chips, make sure they are completely fluid when you add them to the yogurt. Once everything is mixed well, rub it down into a container and let it cool. end!

Temperature is important

The only potential challenge in making this simple pudding is to keep in mind the temperature. The warm, melted chocolate should be smooth mixed with the cool yogurt before it hardens and begins to grab. Using a food processor makes this step very fast and simple, but if it’s quick you can whisk it in a bowl instead.

It also helps to measure the yogurt and sit at room temperature for a while before adding the chocolate. Once you’ve added hot melted chocolate, throw it in one place and don’t drizzle over the yogurt. Immediately cover with a lid before the chocolate cools down. If you are using a bowl to whisk, add the chocolate and whisk immediately.

How to make my two iconic chocolate puddings

To make about 3 cups of pudding, or about 6 people, you will need to:

Plain milk 2 cups of Greek yogurt, 8 oz room temperature semi-sweet chocolate, chops or 2 cups of chocolate chips 2 tablespoons maple syrup or powdered sugar, optional

Place the yogurt in a food processor or a bowl of a large metal bowl and process or whisk until smooth. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler and pour quickly into the yogurt center, still hot. If necessary, immediately treat or whisk until you rub off the sides of the bowl.

Add flavor, maple syrup or powdered sugar, and if it’s sweeter, add powdered sugar and process until well combined.

Transfer into an airtight storage container or layer to an individual parfait with fruit, crushed cookies, granola, or something that moves you. Please enjoy it as is. Or, for a thicker, creamier texture, let it cool for at least an hour.

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to four days.
