This cottage cheese spinach dip is one of my favorite simple recipes to make when I need something quick, fresh, and satisfying. It takes just a few minutes to make with a few everyday ingredients, but it’s creamy, flavorful, and incredibly special. The cottage cheese makes the dip smooth and rich, while the baby spinach adds a fresh, lively flavor that keeps everything light.
I love eating this dip with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables as a quick snack or casual appetizer. It also works beautifully as a spread for sandwiches and wraps. Blended with raw spinach, the dip retains its vibrant color and fresh flavor, making it perfect for warm days or when you want something light on the table.
Another reason I make this recipe so often is because it’s healthy and satisfying at the same time. Cottage cheese is rich in protein, so it’s filling without weighing you down. A great option if you want something simple, homemade, yet nutritious and fresh. Once you make it once, it may become one of those easy recipes that you keep coming back to.
How to make easy cottage cheese spinach dip
First, add cottage cheese to your blender or food processor.
Add baby spinach, garlic, olive oil, yogurt or sour cream (if using), salt, pepper, lemon juice, and a pinch of chile flakes. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy and evenly combined, stopping to scrape the sides as needed.
Taste and adjust seasoning to your liking.
If you find the dip too thick, add a little milk or water until you reach your desired consistency. If it’s too thin, add a little more cottage cheese and mix.
For the best flavor, chill the dip for 15-20 minutes before serving so everything melds beautifully.
Serve with crackers, vegetables, or warm bread for a fresh, creamy dip packed with flavor and bright color.
